This falls into the John Cleese category for me.

If you're a wealthy man and you get divorced and fleeced, you have my sympathy. If you then remarry, and put your remaining wealth at risk a second time, you're the idiot. Cleese obviously takes this to a new low because he's been through it, what, four times already, but this old dude has the same issue.

If you're that fucking lonely, just proposition a local pro to make you exclusive for the next few years until you kick off. She gets more money than she'd ever make in that period, tax free, and you get a sex partner and caregiver for that cash. Everyone's happy and the kids get their inheritance. There's literally no need at all to risk all that wealth with a sham marriage.

The High Court has this morning set aside their prenuptial agreement in a landmark ruling in Thorne v Kennedy, a decision that lawyers warn will open the doors to fresh legal challenges by other former spouses.

The prenup, signed by the woman before the wedding, was thrown out because the woman was not given the option to negotiate, instead given a take it or leave it proposal.

Marriage is literally the only legally binding financial contract where you are not allowed to know the responsibilities and liabilities of the agreement until years or decades later. No other agreement would be legal under these circumstances.

The idea that any man with financial assets would even consider getting married can only be defined as "a bad idea"...he gets zero benefits and unlimited liability.

The husband, known as Mr Kennedy, had assets of at least $18 million.

If you're rich as hell, try and import a poor Eastern European woman and cut her out of any money 11 days before the wedding, quite frankly I don't care if she walks away with most of it. Better her than an entitled western feminist.

This is not the case of the ordinary man getting married in good faith and then getting raped by the system.
