I really wish articles would stop making "cutting" or "snip" jokes when discussion child/infant genital mutilation.

Yeah next time we make an article about infibulation, let's title it "the debate tightens" or "pointy subject".

These are jokes I'd definitely make. In a private context. This kind of shit puns isn't for public articles and debates as it directly removes a part of the seriousness of the issue.

But hey who ever took genital mutilations seriously anyways ?
