I find everything about this story highly implausible. The alleged victim is a self-described leftist feminist. It seems vastly more likely to me that he has simply internalized the victimhood olympics worldview of his peers and realized he could get attention / sympathy for his cause by claiming he was raped, rather than a knife wielding psycho jumping out of an alley to rape him (a rather large man of imposing stature) for his political beliefs.

How about we wait for the investigation to conclude. Assuming it's false because he is a leftwing politician is ignorant.
