I guess it's old fashioned, but I would not get involved with a married man with children, especially, until sometime after his Divorce was final. There are lots of disturbed people out there and he had to have known his wife was not all there. What she did was ghastly, but the husband and a majority of the relatives had to have known what was going on. This could possibly have worked out , with time. The wife was attractive and the girlfriend was nuts to let it get to this point. If they had only separated his wife would surely have found another guy to care about. Where were her parents?........If they are alive. His parents? Where were they. Surely they saw this was getting out of control. A terrible tragedy on all sides. How terrible to kill her little boy who had another dad. One of the worst things I've ever heard about. How could she do this to her first husband?......sickening.

So much deflecting and placing blame on other people's actions. As if they could somehow stop it. Maybe they could "See it happening", but somehow I doubt she was chatting up her bff at Starbucks about how she was going to murder the "other woman", her two kids, and then kill herself.

Why do people think about this? It's just awful. Period. No "Well where were people to stop her from doing this?" How about just that this is terrible and she was an evil person? I don't see much to indicate it was obvious this was going to happen. Other than some threatening messages mentioned, but threatening messages is vague. And could be anything. "You'll pay for this" would be threatening, and that says nothing about what action may or may not be taken.

I don't absolve people of evil actions just because they're mentally ill. Tons of people have mental health issues and somehow manage to not murder others, particularly children.

edit; Ew, some people seem sympathetic toward this woman. A lot of shaming the other woman and man for cheating too. I abhor cheating, but this is not the proper response to it. (if it even was, kind of sounds like he filed for divorce and met this woman while it was still pending, but this article didn't seem to go into it but comments lead me more to believe that since they harp on "waiting until the divorce is final" and "giving it some time before you start dating again" - as if it's your obligation to do so... ) To even bring it up in such a fucked up situation is stupid. If you cheat, being murdered is not something you'd deserve. Fucked up people. There is no "she was evil but". She was just evil.

edit 2; and some comments are evil going "It didn't even do anything, he'll move on and have kids and be happy" as if it'll mean nothing to the men who lost their children to this monster. Ugh, people please. Why did I read these comments.
