May seem like a shitpost cause it's the Emoji Movie but it kinda upset me how feminist some parts of the movie were. The above quote is from Addie when talking to Alex. There was also the tumblr feminist in the form of Jailbreak. She wore a beanie and died her hair, and complained about how "men get credit for things that women did", and about princess stereotypes (which actually turned out to be true). While it is the fucking Emoji Movie, I am disappointed that feminism is creeping into mainstream media.
