Wow, that's really fucking sad. I don't know if I'd be able to keep myself together if I had kids and I wasn't sure if I could even keep them safe, or get them a place to sleep for tomorrow, or for the next few days.

Taxas shelters have this same policy. I spent 2 years sleeping on a sidewalk as a kid because of this.
