i don't think this one's a big deal. I haven't seen the film myself, but from what I've heard, it's not as full of third wave feminist rhetoric as one might expect. It is faithful to the period it's set in and wonder woman works with men too.

Additionally, my thoughts on the all-female screening are that it's pretty harmless, and it works with the theme of a notable strong female lead in comics. The idea is not to exclude men, but to include women in a male dominated genre. It does also exclude men for being men, but it's for a reason and it's not a big thing so don't take it too personally.

As a normal person, I have no idea why anyone would go see this movie. Even my wife laughed at the idea of it.

there's a new Bruce Willis film out in june....will it be in whites only theaters?...i doubt that decision would go unnoticed or not covered by every news outlet in the country. as it should be... as it would be as blatant an example of racism as the above is an example of sexism.
