A few days ago I met this girl and we hit it off pretty well. We talked throughout the day and I tried practicing the rule of not asking questions but making statements, but the statements I made were often off mark. For example, instead of asking her "what are you going to major in" I said "I'd venture to say that you're an art major" to which she responded she was in biology. Afterwards she started giving me a lot of IOIs (agreeing enthusiastically with everything I said, returning my kino, looking at me whenever she laughed at the event speaker's jokes), but I can't help but wonder if that was a fluke and if making incorrect statements is really better than asking questions. Are statements always better than questions?
