NOPE! Herpes is a virus and HPV is a different virus (and the flu and rhinovirus are also viruses). They are completely unrelated in any other way. Having one does not cause the other except that you may be more susceptible to another virus if your immune system is compromised. This goes for ANY virus. This is like saying that having a cat causes you to have a dog. Completely unrelated.
