Well it's always useful. Try and have a conversation with somebody whilst you stare at a crack in the pavement, doesn't go down too well :L

When is it creepy? If you stare for too long, without blinking whilst drool dangles from your mouth... That will get you kicked out of a yoga studio really quickly

I use eye contact whenever I want to see if a girl is interested. It's fast, easy, and covert - nobody else usually notices two strangers building sexual tension by staring at each other.

The other day I was at the auto shop getting an oil change and this blonde milf comes in. A teenage boy comes in soon after, and sits across from her in the waiting room. I suspect it is her son. The kid's on his phone and I'm reviewing some work documents. My mind is on my work. Suddenly I get this feeling I'm being watched, so I look up and I meet her gaze. She was looking at me. So I looked back. A few seconds pass, she doesn't break eye contact. In my peripheral I notice the kid's still on his phone. I hold eye contact. She maintained it too. Finally I smiled, and smoothly averted my eyes back down to my documents. She smiled too, and that was the end of it. I decided that while there might have been something there, it was not the right surroundings for engagement.

Another "whenever" example is when I was in my car, stuck in traffic. Two lane road. Her pretty face caught my eye as she was inching up in the opposite lane. She must have been feeling watched because boom she hooked on to my eye contact. Cue the staring contest.

The mentality for successful eye contact is "expect her to stare back." If you engage eye contact and are caught by surprise when she doesn't look away, you won't seem assertive. You need to eye-fuck her the whole time, but eventually smile or wink to break the tension. If the circumstances are right, you've just set yourself up for an approach. Go up and say hey.

For a girl, hold eye contact for as long as she's still looking. Bonus point of u do that upper lip bite.
