Terrible title, I know.
I will have it in my mind to approach when I'm feeling and looking good and single, searching for signs to approach women, or be evaluating, deciding whether to approach (but this is mostly myself deciding why not to approach).
Funny thing is when I have my head in the clouds (which is often, I’m slightly more introverted and unwind/process while walking), randomly, a woman will give me a sign: a strong gaze, a friendly 'hello', something out of her way to communicate with me.
At this moment, I take it as a compliment and go about my business, realizing only a little later what had happened. I'm friendly and flirty, so to me it's just someone being nice, which is most often the case, no doubt.
I'm a firm believer of the 'act within so many seconds rule, else she's gone' attitude, so I then talk myself out to chasing back after a girl, which wouldn't look so good in approaching from behind.
How do you guys stay present in the moment and avoid doing what I'm doing?
Also, whenever this happens, I will most likely be in a relationship (as in, currently), so I may be getting enough sex to not need to be actively looking but I need to stay looking for better all the time.
Thanks much.
