I had a relative, since deceased, who was abused by his wife. She would beat him and everyone knew it. Unfortunately this was in the late 60's and early 70's so nothing would have happened because he's a man and its "shameful" for a man to be "that weak". So you know what happened? They stayed married until he died.

If there is one thing that I love about this current 3rd wave of feminism, is that it talks openly about the fact that women can be just as violent, and cruel as any man. It's not a gendered thing, it's part of the human condition. And stories like this help to remind everyone of that.
