This is a group of like 30 people, filmed from the front to make them look like a much larger group. You can tell in the scene with the tear gas, there are far fewer of them than there are police, which is pretty much never the case with American riots.

Plebs. They can't even clap in unison, how could you expect them to organize a sizable riot?
