The problem I see with this video is that is tries to justify all these atrocities simply by claiming that others committed similar acts.

Apartheid? Ah, Africans also opressed whites! Slavery? B-but Muslims and blacks had slaves too! Holocaust? Well the communists killed even more!

Yes, the First Crusade did a decent job of driving back the encroaching Islamic threat, but many later crusades were bloody faliures that wasted countless white, christian lives and crippled the Byzantine Empire, which only paved the way for further Islamic gains.

I agree that we shouldn't be punished for our ancestor's mistakes, but just denying and pointing fingers gets you nowhere, and using a few examples of persecution as an excuse for hatred and a return to old, disasterous ways is only going to hurt us.
