Just a musing I wouldn't mind some feedback on.

We know about the concept of hegemonic masculinity (a specific type of masculinity), where males whose self-worth is defined in certain ways makes them toxic to others and such, and through displays of power to elevate themselves above others.

I'd like you to compare that attitude with the attitude often on display in instances of "Girl power", especially where women are shown to be harming men, (Example, the infamous castration and crowd laughing clips) taken to the logical conclusion with cultural memes like here here: https://youtu.be/YS6u4NPFI2Q

I posit that much of the current feminist rhetoric amounts to forming a toxic femininity that revolves around basing self-worth around how much it upsets and harms the men around you, and gives you control over them. "Girl power" and the celebration of cruelty to men is the celebration of hegemonic feminism, the ceaseless celebration of women displaying power as positive. Through the obsession with female power and feminine liberation, femininity in modern women becomes distorted. The desire to display power become central to parts of it, and to the identity of women in general, they may not even be fully aware of it. The terms in which feminism frames the discussion will naturally incline people toward cruelty in much the same way as the mentalities that drive the people they complain about.

This is basically the same dynamic as hegemonic masculinity. If someones self-worth becomes tied to displays of power, it typically bodes poorly for everyone involved. Much of the language of feminism also encourages these mentalities (Empowering and such.) I've made up terms here to try and discuss this phenomena.

I'm also interested in feminist responses, if any are lurking.

TL;DR If the movements demands reads like it was written by a megalomaniac, it's probably not positive for society. The more emphasis on displays of power there is, the more likely it's going to end up displaying casual cruelty. Terms like "Female empowerment" are suspect because they encourage the "Girl power" mentality that leads to cruelty, and toxic forms of behavior. In men where it's the case, they notice. But then they worship at the same altar those men do. The celebration of feminine displays of dominance leads to cruelty, not equality.
