Marion Superior Court Judge Mark Stoner sentenced Shana Taylor to six years of home detention, which was the amount specified in her plea agreement, reports the Indy Star.

She has agreed to give up her teaching licence, but she will not be required to register as a sex offender.

In return for her guilty plea to sending the photos, the Marion County prosecutor’s office agreed to dismiss the other charges including nine felony counts of child seduction and one misdemeanour count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor that were pending against her, court records state.

Plea deal my ass, there's something else going on here. You don't throw away 9 felony counts only to give 6 years of home detention and NOT have to register as a sex offender. This is the worst "slap on the wrist" I've ever seen.
