Does anyone know how many of those 82 children rescued by the FBI were boys? Call me paranoid, but I have my suspicions on why that's not being reported.

I don't blame you for being paranoid in the slightest in this case, it's deeply suspicious the way they've reported this. The media has no problems screaming out even if it's only a tiny number how these poor girls were trafficked or attacked etc. yet if boys are involved at all they stay completely silent.

Unfortunately unless you can find other sources that put these details in there isn't really hard proof here that there's a genuine bias as there are also anonymity laws and so on to protect children like this depending on the situation so it could be the case is just really sensitive, it is an intelligence agency after all, this isn't just a police investigation.

Isn't this the reporting we want though? 82 children were trafficked; their gender doesn't matter. They didn't try to make it a women's issue when most likely both genders were involved.

Also, as u/Lethn pointed out, anonymity laws could be preventing their genders from being revealed.
