The cops have not yet said if the murder-suicide was the doing of both parents, only dad, or only mom, but already the media is treating the woman like a saint. I have seen no equivalent articles about the husband being a great guy, so it looks as if the feminist spin will be to blame dad.

I know that men are sometimes slammed for doing the same thing. As bitter bastards denying their children to the world and their wives. So fair enough this may tangentially be an MR issue. But with a title which questions the mothers' mothering credentials you take this to a very dark place.

People who commit suicide like this have typically reached the absolute bottom of the depths of despair. They literally see no other alternative. Death is the only escape.

She and her husband and children and those they leave behind deserve our compassion. Her having been an amazing mother is entirely possible.
