Police time was wasted, the mock-up picture fortunately didn't resemble anyone locally.

I don't think a 14 year old really understands what she did, but it still goes to show how quickly false claims are believed and acted on.

What is encouraging is that it looks as if she will have to answer for her false claim. If they can do it to a juvenile who claimed to be kidnapped, why not women when they claim to be raped?
