I read an article about how the accuser felt like she was interrogated. She tried to make it seem like the investigators were badgering her when they were simply doing their job.

But she heard a recording of Artis' interview with the DPS. 'They told him, 'don't sweat it, just keep on living your life and playing football,' she said. 'They even laughed with him when he told them how many girls' phone numbers he had managed to get on the same night he raped me.'

Police often use strategic deception to get confessions from a suspect. They are allowed to do that. It's possible that the chummy conversation was an attempt at getting what they wanted. Of course she wouldn't understand that. She wants this man to pay and pay for his alleged crimes. The $5000 bail tells us that the police likely didn't believe her story. There is always more to it than what we read in the media.
