This development is very troublesome. Even Obama's former Chief Strategist David Axelrod took to Twitter to say that this was disturbing. The response was uniformly against him. So much for liberals being about prison reform. (I say this as a liberal who feels left out by this new 'liberalism')

I posted Axelrod's tweet and it didn't get any upvotes :(

As a point of reference, that "white, male judge" gave a rapist 6 months in jail because he didn't want to "screw up his life." Whether you hate feminism or not, you can't say that is not some shady bullshit.
