A woman voluntarily consumes huge amounts of the most dangerous date-rape drug, and loses all reason and judgement. Psychopath lures her back to his house, then rapes and murders her.

Everyone else has to take responsibly and has a "duty of care" — apart from the women herself. The taxi driver should have taken her home for free; the night club that sold her the date-rape drug should have looked-after her; and some bloke she thought was her boyfriend is actually pictured and named-and-shamed for not "rescuing" her.

But the woman is simply described as "distressed"; and it's never even suggested that she has a duty of care to herself.

"Teach psychopaths not to rape" just isn't going to work — women need learn how to protect themselves, and take responsibly for their own safety.

But all this is just "blaming the victim". Better to let women be murdered and raped rather than tell the truth... /s
