I am not christian in the slightest, although I do pray sometimes. I'm like a mixture of agnostic and atheism, basically I believe in science but at the same time I'm not arrogant enough to believe sciences "theres no god, only nature" stance is the end all be all. TRP has also pushed me more towards atheism/science since its more aligned with evolution then anything else.

Anyways, so my mom asked me If I wanted to go to a church youth camp a week ago because I'll be a senior this year and it'd be my last chance to go. I said fuck it why not, it could be fun and I went. I had a pretty good time outside of the sermons, we mostly played sports or other fun shit. I made lots of bros over the week and I see that even If I'm not actually christian, church is a good place for social opportunities. Also, I want to be a singer for a living and they have a chorus/ensemble I think I could learn a lot at, their youth chorus director is an amazing singer so I think If I could get mentored by him It could help me learn to control my voice a lot better (I sing beautifully, but am a natural singer with no training)

The thing that puts me off though is that the entire week all the sermons were about "sexual immorality", how anything sexual before marriage is wrong, how if you even look at a woman with lust its wrong, how we need to protect the girls in the youth group like sisters & respect them and help them, how most things are the mens fault because we're supposed to be leaders etc. Basically a bunch of bluepill shit that will lead you to being a sexless virgin faggot, which obviously I automatically disagreed with since I'm RP Aware. The youth pastor said that if guys were found trying to initiate sex with girls, or get nudes, if you and a girl are found out to be having sex or you're just being sexual or made a girl feel uncomfortable, they would: call parents & report the guy to the cops which would have a talk with the church leaders about getting the person trespassed from the church. aka you cant step on their property which is essentially half of the downtown of my city because they are a mega church. They also said that you basically shouldn't date in high school or date any of the girls. I've got no problem just gaming elsewhere but the fact that they would go that far is what irks me.

TLDR; Pros: Made a lot of cool friends, good way to meet new people and expand my social circle and form strong male social bonds, the sports were fun, I could learn from their choir director how to control my voice and grow my talent/passion/future career.

Cons: Very pro-beta male, anti sex environment (like most churches) that could have real consequences if anything happened with me and a girl. I could definitely keep my mouth shut but I dont trust any girl to do so.
