I absolutely fucking love that they portray BOTH women and men using stereotypes. They argue against the stereotypes of women but then use stereotypes that portray them in a good light and men in a bad light. Take for example the recent article about being a "50/50 mum". The article talks about the "lost cuddles before bedtime" and the "long nights spent wondering if they are sleeping sweetly or crying out for Mummy". Yes because that's all that mothers do, well, it is as long as it makes them seem good. Time and time again feminists make claims like "Yes but women are like X so they should be treated this way", I know they're talking about the majority of women but most of the shit they say are just stereotypes that have existed for a very long time long (mother= sweet, caring and takes care of kids 24/7 with the modern twist of mothers who work but also take care of their kids 24/7 somehow) but who cares if they make them seem good?
