Pissed me off when she got a year, now it's 90 days fuck me. I understood the judge not wanting to ruin an 18 year olds life with a felony charge but god damn 90 days for dragging someone 40 feet after hitting them with your car then leaving the scene without even trying to report it or call an ambulance...that isn't justice.

At the exact point at which a person makes a decision to not help and call an ambulance, and instead leave someone to die, how does it not become murder? Can someone with any knowledge of the US law system explain this?
