certainly that is all true but it's equally true for a lot of leftist causes. any dissent is "hate speech" - any opposition to obama is "racism", any opposition to hillary is "sexism" - any opposition to "Global Warming" is "denial" - any opposition to liberalism is "fascism" -

Leftist automatically try to demonize anyone that argues against their dogma because they have no actual facts to use in defense of their beliefs. They know that attacking the reputation of anyone opposed to their ideas is their only line of defense.
