I'm here to tell you that there is a REASON some of us choose not to work with [name redacted]: He is a criminal harasser.

Umm, isn't it a question for a court of law to determine who is a CRIMINAL and who isn't? But I forget myself. Once a woman is determined to institute some "name and shame" mob justice, the "victim" decides who is a criminal and who isn't.

I have seen the future of cons. Not looking good for cosplayer attention-whores.

First off, I know the guy personally.

He is not the monster that this girl is making him out to be...he was not then, and he is not now.

Second; his version of the story falls right with who he was back then. He was not a "harasser" or anything like that. He was a "young, dumb kid" who did the kind of things that teens did. Those things are not always right or harmless, but they are more times than not, done out of a sense of evil or malice.

By his own admission; he and a bunch of 16-18 year-old boys were sitting outside of a room full of girls and he came up with the stupid idea; "Hee-hee, let's scare the girls! Hee-hee!" So, he stuck his head in the room, made some noise, and that was that.

This chick's blog post is not some "brave" or "socially-relevant" act; it's just sour grapes over a FB post that he made that she didn't like:

"Unfortunately, his behavior online has told me otherwise. He continues to post sexist, degrading comments about "cosfamous" cosplayers on his social media accounts. He appeared on a panel last year spouting the same sentiment. His opinions aside, I'm here to tell you that there is a REASON some of us choose not to work with Ron Ladao: He is a criminal harasser."

Translation:

"I don't like the things that you post online or your (perceived) sexism, so I am going to shame you and try to ruin your reputation by mentioning a childish prank you pulled more than ten years ago...."

Just fucking pathetic....
