Hi guys, I’m in my early thirties and after experimenting with dating a little bit (ok more than a little bit) I stumbled in a big problem. I cannot keep women attracted to me. At some points during the first 4-6 months of a ltr i become needy, controlling and insecure.

I am working on how manage better emotions and in the last couple of months I improved a bit, i’m Not in a relationship right now, and I am working towards bettering myself, my emotional control, my aspect trough workout, my career and my mind trough meditation and reading lots of books.

A great point that I want to overcome is how to be a better man. I’m working to overcome social anxiety (I have no problem taking to girls and getting number or having dates and sex but the idea of being in a crowded place alone scares me, go figure) and something that’s always been a problem for me is being a man.

I basically have no role model to follow. I’m very ironic with girls, I use cocky and funny a lot, but I go from being a little of a jerk to too much of a nice guy if I attach to the woman. I basically don’t know how to imtegrate being more secure, firm and dominant while still being ironic and charming.

I think that LOTS OF IT is because I never had someone to follow, a father or a mentor. I mean I had a father but he was like an irresponsible child more than a man. Help!
