With the way society is with 50/50 relationships from a female perspective what do you think should be done to help and encourage a new generation of teenage boys & young men or really just men of any age to be better providers in the future for their wives & girlfriends.

Personally for the last few years I've struggled with the idea of wanting to be a provider & protector for my future wife while having contradictory thoughts about wanting a 50/50 relationship. I'm an ambitious guy , I'm in my early 20s & study software engineering & invest in the stock market . I figured that if I'm an ambitious man I'd probably end up being the higher earner in a relationship so I'd better get used to being a good provider and protector instead of stressing about wanting a 50/50 relationship that might be harder to find at a certain income level
