Are you familiar with the European Feminist extremist group, Femen? They are the ones parading topless for media attention to speak out on "women's rights."

Without inviting arguments concerning the Catholic Church or abortion, I wanted to address the Christmas spectacle of a woman from Femen hopping up onto the altar of the cathedral in Cologne with the message "I AM GOD" scrawled on her naked torso.

Could we view this as solipsistic extremism? Most of the women of Femen seem to be quite attractive, and if not in their absolute prime of early 20's, are at least of attention-attracting childbearing years.

Could it be that with their inability to see the range of social issues that plague mankind, they are only able, solipsistically, to see the ones that directly relate to them? And then, compounded by a worldview bound by men feasting attention on their bodies, which, solipsistically (and pathologically), they cannot view as having any other meaning than the world worshipping them for their bodies, they come to be driven to the belief that THEY ARE THE MOST POWERFUL BEINGS IN THE UNIVERSE?

So, basically, they see attention on their bodies; they like attention on their bodies; they want attention on their bodies. They cannot think what that attention means from a male point of view, and the larger picture of the male sex drive, the concept of reproduction, and the responsibilities they have in response to the attention their bodies attract.

Instead, they see only the power of their bodies. See nothing else as powerful. Conclude their bodies must be the most powerful force in the universe, and end up topless at a Catholic cathedral at Christmas declaring their naked torso to be worshipped (it's written pretty clearly, "I AM GOD"), with the further explicit message that any force claiming supremacy over that body (the Church's anti-abortion stance) as their enemy over which they have come to declare themselves victor (until the part where they are overpowered by mere human security guards and sent to prison.)

Essentially, the world (esp. Western Civilization) has given too much praise to the female form, and now it thinks it is God.
