This is pretty much the impression I have gotten.. I don't care about cars, so when I hear names like Volvo, Opel, Audi or Seat, what I see is an old boring clunker. BMW, Mercedes or Ferrari though, sound more exiting.

Most cars are so boring nowadays. If a car looks like every other car on the road, it doesn't matter to me what specs it has. I want something beautiful. A Ferrari, old classic american car (I particularly like Mustang), or maybe a hot rod, etc.
