There's a girl in her early 30s at work who I've felt a different vibe around, which had always left me feeling like I have a chance with her. Not sure if I can say we've been flirting, but I have gotten to the point where I mess around with her aggressively. One day I had to go into the female restroom and I found her there and we joked around, later on when we saw each other we exchanged smiles. Anyways, one day when I saw her I stared into her eyes and grinned, I just felt like doing something different and this is where she called me a weirdo; she grinned too and then when she started to turn away she said: "you're a weirdo," in a quite serious voice but with a tinge of non seriousness. Admittedly, this demolished my frame and I felt low; my response was pretty lame too, I said: "I'm weird?" To try to recover, next time I talked to her that day I joked around along the lines of "I don't talk to weird people" or whatever and she laughed. Furthermore, I've been giving her less attention (not that I gave her much, to begin with) and our interactions have become plainer and short. I try more now to be a dick to her, one time when we were exchanging greetings I said: "What's up loser?" While also acting sort of like she doesn't even exist.

Last time we talked I went into work stoned and she said to me "you're NOT ok." I don't know if she was mistaken and thought I was sad or what (a male coworker said "I look like I'm overthinking"), I got the vibe that she is treating me like... a female, a gay guy or a helpless child if that makes sense? I hate that. Later on, when she saw me again, she started to talk to me and said: "What is wrong with you?! Ugh I swear, you're SO weird sometimes...!" I just joked around smiled and said what's not wrong with me. She said "really!! what's wrong?" but I just grinned and ignored her.

I feel that the "weirdo" comment was a shit test and I've failed and now I've been largely placed into unfuckable kid status. She keeps saying that I'm sensitive, since before the weirdo comment. I hope I'm not just looking too much into this, but my instinct makes me feel like there's more to this.

Maybe I should make a move, like find a good way to tell her I find her attractive. Or would that give her power and just end up fucking me over?
