Yeah, gonna have to agree with loweb on this. She was 12 and acting with her 24 yr old boyfriend. Not much of a limb to go out on to figure she was probably coerced/manipulated, possibly even threatened. I don't know, but she was 12 and being influenced by an obviously unstable predator. So while I'll gladly call out a pussy pass when I see it, I just don't think this qualifies.

And imo, in this case, to say "imagine if a 12 year old boy did that..." is disingenuous. If there's another comparable case (12yr old boy with a 24 yr old girlfriend that murdered his parents with the predator), then show it. But to take our legitimate grievance with the unfair "pussy pass" and project it onto a hypothetical rare and unique case is just silly and just provides more confirmation bias "they're all just hateful misogynists lookin' for anything to whine about" fodder for the naysayers.
