Nancy Lanza was a severely disturbed woman who insisted on full custody of Adam and fought to isolate him from his father and brother. She was a paranoid person who belonged to a doomsday cult and filled Adam's head with violence, while trapping in the house of horrors. But up until now she got the standard mommy pass and her involvement has been downplayed. But yesterday a civil court called out her complicity in the murders. And already the mom-apologists are out in force criticizing the judgement.

From CNN - One lawsuit accused Lanza of allowing her son access to weapons "despite the fact that she knew, or should have known, that his mental and emotional condition made him a danger to others."

Although she complained to neighbors and friends about Adam, she never got him professional help because it would have exposed her own role in his madness. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

It sounds more like a form of slavery. I'm a little surprised they agreed to allow him to eventually retire.

Why am I not surprised in the slightest? Do you have proper articles linking to the other side of the story if this is true? There's always something that genuinely sets these people off it doesn't just happen 'because' of guns.
