So, seeing the data on assaulted males in other countries like US and European countries got me curious about data in my country.
Sadly.. whenever I type something related to violence, assault etc. I only find data about women.
And.. you have to see those headlines.
"Men killed 300 women this year" is one of the most disgusting ones..
Someone gets raped here, it hits the news and men become these filthy, sweaty monsters that are stereotyped.
Men are mentally forced to hide their feelings. You, as a Turkish man, have to be strong, man up and not be emotional.
Women are scared of men, or they are manipulative to men.
Yes, not all women, but I see a lot of examples of this, like "This one guy friend who totally gets me" but they never mention or guy friend never mentions his feelings.
This is a really confused country because we are expected to be modern like a European man, but emotional as a stick, as a traditional Turkish man.
There are a lot of sexually confused people, a lot of examples of bestiality, raping women. Just Google "Why do Turkish people add me on Facebook" and you can see how sexually desperate some people in my country are.
And that is because the culture, we are expected to be a fucking womanizer since the day we are born, praised by our parents and relatives while girls are expected to be maidens of chastity and that leaves us with a side that is directly or sub consciously learned that his purpose is fucking and other side learned that thir purpose is NOT to fuck.
So like I said, no data, only reason all shit happens is apparently males and a sexually and culturally confused country here.
And I want to help with some stuff, at least inform people. But I don't have or I can't find any data that can help me back any claims, if such data exists.
Edit: FOUND DATA!
Apparently 80% of people that are murdered in Turkey are male.
Which is really.. weird, because a news site says "Murder (of women) increase" (yes, they literally titled it with a ( ) ...) and focuses on how women are murdered even though 80% of victims are male.
