There should be criminal charges along the lines of official misconduct and if there were people putting pressure on the police to prosecute, shouldn't these people be charged with a crime like perverting the course of justice. During the Stuebenville rape trial, there were demands to charge everyone remotely involved or aware even if they were only class 3 or 4 misdemeanors the equivalent of a traffic ticket?
