I checked this article out over at /r/feminisim and they changed it from boys to children, and then this wonderful comment:

The most fucked up of things happen to women when people value women's rights below "cultural sensitivity".

This is so stupid, how can they even twist this like that?

FYI, a quote from a US warfighter about this has been in our FAQ for a long time, and it's one of the reasons it's been called "conspiratorial". Now the NY Times acknowledges it finally.
