I've heard term "Rape Culture" many times in context of Western World and every time it strongly implies that it's about normalization of men on women kind of rape, especially on college campuses where presumably men rape women and face no consequences. That's not true, of course. Male students often get expelled without due process, without police investigation. I haven't seen yet a media report where male rapist is being portrayed as a lover or as a victim, or in any positive way.

On the other hand, there are lots of articles in media where women who raped boys are portrayed as victims or lovers. That makes me think that media consciously guards this class of rapists (women) from negative public opinion. There are even news where women who raped men are getting cheered by audience - remember when a male burglar was held several days as a sex slave by a woman?

So, if one group of people can rape without adequate consequences (or even without consequences at all) - is this the indication that rape culture exists indeed and this group of people - women?
