That is one hell of post title. So many mistakes.

1) He launched a defamation lawsuit against her first which he dropped without seeing through. One would think if his case had any merit he would try to see it through. 2) Her original article mentioned physical and emotional abuse but not sexual abuse. 3) This man wrote a biography in which he lied about his employment history. He was a gym teacher/missionary at a residential school (which have a terrible history in Canada). After discovering this lie, she followed up and went to community where he worked. This is where a multitude of people came forward alleging various types of mistreatment. If a large number of people have serious allegations against someone of prominence, then the story should be written.

There doesn't seem to be enough evidence to put him in jail, especially considering the events in question happened so long ago. But that doesn't mean the story shouldn't have been written. This woman is reporting on what numerous men and woman swear to be true. Why believe one man over them?
