Also, I was taught by my programming teachers (all women) that any potentially destructive option needs a confirmation. Ie: deleting a file needs a popup asking if you're sure. The more destructive the act, the more action is required on the user's part to counter popup blindness Ie: typing yes instead of clicking it

With a proper UX designer, this shouldn't have happened
