Yeah, it's just a movie.
And it'll be just another movie. And just another one. And the one after that. At least it will be if the new Mad Max is a success.
Every one of you supposed MRAs who supports this movie with your money is helping to set this as a precedent. We're talking about a radical feminist who has spent her entire life demonizing men and who wrote a play glamorizing the lesbian rape of a 13-year-old drunk girl by an adult woman. If they get away with hiring her, they've pretty much got carte blanche to do whatever they want from now on.
Some of you are so scared of being unfairly labeled misogynist laughingstocks who don't want anything female in a movie or being lumped in with "undesirables" like ROK that you're practically tripping over yourselves to support this movie, even though doing so could have an adverse effect on men and their depiction in the media for decades to come.
When every action movie starts having a pet radical feminist consultant... When Lena Dunham starts consulting on comedies to check for sexism... Or when Anita Sarkeesian starts consulting on video game movies...
Just remember how many of your fellow supposed men's right activists vowed to see this movie and assured you how it was no big deal.
