Men don't complain about dangerous jobs, the complaint is how said jobs are practically ignored and thankless. The whole point of saying more men die at work is illustrating that there is a major issue no one gives a fuck about that if it were women people would be up in arms.

People who have a more dangerous job should just be paid more, that's what they complain about, because it's just fair!

I myself wouldn't want to have a more dangerous job, but therefor I'm very thankful to everyone who does such a job and don't complain about how I make less then them...

I think the issue has less to do with men making the choice to do those careers and women only focusing on crying sexism when they don't get the desirable jobs such as those in STEM feilds or being CEO'S. It's like they think they should have all the best positions and men should "choose" the shitty ones. Men do what they gotta do to survive and when the same is expected of women they say it's sexist.

What they fail to realize is that blue collar men tend to do the jobs that build and maintain the infrastructure of this country that allows women and the upper classes the lives of luxury.
