How did an ex-feminist once hailed by Gloria Steinem become a hero of the haters?

Interesting how nobody ever asks this question in earnest. It's just seen as rhetorical. You never hear: "How could a reasonable person with a demonstrated desire for equality and a demonstrated non-misogynistic worlview support and alternative point of view?"

Given how much damage Feminism has inflicted upon society, and men in particular, can you blame men for feeling injured and angry?

Or did we expect men to simply 'suck it up and drive on' again ?

I've always felt that any men's movements are started by those who wish to control how any men's movement, or movements function. Keep them neutered. Keep people on the inside who actually overlook things (intentionally) and tend to make the group and / or groups look weaker, unnecessary and even ridiculous. Real men are needed to head up any group for Men's Rights. Unfortunately .. A powerful men's group (like feminist power) is considered to be the dark side.
