Not really a Men's Right's issue, but an interesting equality take by eBay.

I support his public shaming efforts, this is an old complaint of mine. When my daughter was young I got kicked out of more than a few stores for using the changing station in the women's restroom. But, as I told the managers as they were escorting my daughter and I to the door ( quite loudly ), I won't patronize any store that shows fathers that kind of disrespect.

To this day if I don't see a changing station in the men's restroom, I leave the store and don't come back. If I see a manager on the way out the door, I'll let them know about it too ( again, loudly ).

I received an email from change.org that Ashton Kutcher is specifically calling out Target and Costco due to a lack of changing tables in men's restrooms.

Weird, because every Target I've ever been in has had a changing table in the men's room.

I had fun when my little girl was in diapers. If we walked into a mens restroom and there was no diaper station, we turned around and went into the women's restroom. The responses were priceless.

So far I've only had to do it a few times and I've had nothing but smiles and welcoming women. Does feel uncomfortable regardless.

I think this is largely an American issue. Not that I have counted, but mens room changing tables in major chains in Canada are very common. Am I wrong, any Canadian fathers with a different experience.

They're pretty much in every big corporate chain store and franchise up here in Canada. Tim Horton's even has those big plastic tables that fold down from the wall. Target, funny enough, didn't have them, and look at what happened to them up here....

It's getting better, I saw standalone changing station in a local mall. Labeled as "Mother with child room" though.

I fully support this and hope it happens. But an even further step that I know is a lot harder/more costly, but is still nice to hope, is for more companies to offer family bathrooms. It is especially beneficial for dads who have daughters, or mothers who have sons and have to take them to the bathroom. Another option is gender neutral bathrooms, and I've actually seen a few places offering these more.

This is fantastic! A great step for erasing harmful gender stereotypes and also for creating a more gender neutral bathroom space. Both of which feminists fight for wholeheartedly.
