I will admit I have no way of confirming whether or not this is true, but given what I know about the couple, I believe his story. This man stands to lose quite a bit. Jennifer and Tom are engaged to be married. Jennifer is a stay at home mom (her children are from a previous relationship) and Tom is a blue collar worker with a great job that has allowed him to buy the house the two live in.

Last night, Tom and Jennifer (not real names) got into an argument. She locked herself in their bedroom, punched herself in the face, and called the police. Tom was arrested, spent the night in jail, and now faces prosecution for domestic violence. He cannot go back to his home that he bought and that holds all of his possessions. He also faces the prospects of incarceration and unemployment.

I want to add that I don't like Tom. My ex and her entire family were pitted against me in my fight to be with my daughter. I cannot, however, stand by and see another man taken out by a criminal justice system that will jump to support a woman on her word alone. Perhaps this post is better suited to r/mensrants, but I feel like it is a good example of how women can manipulate feminist inspired domestic violence policy to jail a man and rob him of his home.
