A full audit wouldn't be necessary, this culture of corruption wouldn't exist, and the fourteenth amendment due process rights of both the mother and the father to a more than fair process before the state interfered with the care and custody of their child would be more likely respected, if US Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General had done a better job, and if HHS had administered Title IV-E (which funds most of CPS) without the appearance of fraud, waste, and abuse.

The HHS is rife with Veteran's Administration style funny numbers that appear to endanger children, parents, and domestic violence victims in apparent violation of the GAGAS standards mandated by the Single Audit Act and the Data Quality Act.

The HHS Office of Inspector General uses "self reporting" to audit Title IV-D (child support and parenting time) and Title IV-E (foster care services). Those self reporting mechanisms are similarly rife with "funny numbers", including citizen grievances which are destroyed, misplaced, ignored, or never filed due to bureaucratic intransigence and retaliation against citizens.

In Michigan, major news outlets reported that at least two children were improperly removed from their parents care by so called "orders" which appear to have been created by social workers wielding rubber stamps. In Kentucky, major news outlets reported that children were found with foster parents with criminal records. In Connecticut, a very rare HHS Inspector's General report found that federal laws requiring background checks were ignored.

Children and parents may suffer abuse and die as a result of the corruption maintained via these funny numbers, including one family where children have been endangered after being kidnapped by a drug addicted mother, and their father who can't get the authorities to protect his parental rights due to sexism, Stevie, a 4 year old California girl taken from her fit father and placed in a dangerous foster care situation because a CPS worker falsely claimed her dad failed a drug test, Michigan children may have been denied services because HHS tax dollars appear to be funneled into illegal lobbying, a 14 year old boy starved after reports to CPS were ignored, a young woman who suffered her mother's meth addiction fueled abuses due to systematic sexism against her father, and a New Jersey dad trying to support his children while his state HHS funded child support agency blatantly ignores his children's rights to child support enforcement from their deadbeat mom.

These are from the action opportunities submitted to, and apparently ignored by, the HHS-OIG by the reddit men's rights community, I urge the HHS-OIG to exercise its governing authority to protect children and parents, and to avoid the appearance of corruption or negligence.

As part of its mission to care for children, vulnerable adults, and all Americans, the HHS-OIG can also demonstrate kindness and integrity by providing truthful information about these ongoing issues of corruption to the President, to the White House staff, to Congress, and to the public where required or appropriate.

Until effective action is taken to understand the truth, and to fix these problems, those children, parents, and domestic violence victims who survive must hope for justice, and persevere.
