Most women want to marry up, want someone more successful, to be happy. For many women the more attractive and successful they are, the smaller their potential dating pool.

If she picks a less successful man, she will often be resentful and lack primal attraction for him, even if it's all at a subconscious level. This leads to a turbulent relationship, lacking sexual attraction, and may lead her to cheating.

Is it going to be harder for her to find man for herself? And if so, why? Is it her fault?

She's going to find it harder to find a man she respects.

Why? Because she's richer/smarter than most women (although as a family member she's more likely to lie to you about her nature and you're more likely to believe it).

Is it her fault? Well that's the problem. The better a woman is, the smaller the pool of men who are better than she is. I suggest getting away from the concept of blame in situations like this.
