Like many married couples we talked a lot about how we would raise our children; what we would possibly name them and other parental roles and ideologies we believed in.

When the time came for my wife and I to commit to starting a family we hoped it would be a boy! Now for many feminists they might see this as an admission to saying something like "a boy will have an easier time succeeding in life" or "girls are under too much danger" etc etc.

Truth of the matter is we wanted a boy simply because they are easier to raise then girls! It had nothing to do with "rape culture" or "not equal pay" or any other nonsense. It was simply because we both knew from growing up that raising a boy was just that much easier then raising a girl in this day and age.

But why?

My wife was in a sorority in California; she was in dance and fraternized a lot with the fraternities. She's been to the parties, she's lived the college life I never did and she was the one most adamant about not wanting a girl. Her reasons matched my won.

TOO MUCH DRAMA!

This is the crux of my argument, feminists need to do more to end the shit girls do to one another. In my opinion it is generally worse then any "cat-call" a woman can ever receive. It is worse then the saying "like a girl"; it is worse then objectification and it is almost as bad as rape itself.

The state in which girls interact with one another is appalling. Constant drama, degrading comments, lies, backstabbing, false accusations and slut shaming. This takes place within the circle of "friends" (the revolving circle of friends they have) and perpetuates this toxic conditioning that ingrains itself into many aspects of their lives.

This isn't just a one time thing, many girls will have a falling out with one friend and then her and her other friends will commence the barrage I listed above. Then they may or may not become friends again and then gang up on another girl while doing the exact same thing.

We've all seen this, we have all witnessed this. I've witnessed it with my mother, my sister, my ex-girlfriends my old girl-friends in high school and even some of my fellow co-workers. Hell just eves drop at a bar one night and you'll hear at least 3 different conversations from 3 different groups of women doing exactly that! I challenge any AMRA or feminists reading this to say they not only have not partaken in such activities but also have never witnessed others doing so! And if they have seen such activities what have they done to stop it?

It's time for feminism to look inward and look at the interactions they make with not just "men" but their fellow "women" too. This should be the highest priority for all feminists because it is something they can and do control to its core; because they are women abusing other women.

Could my wife and I raise a girl in this day and age, hell yes! Would we do everything we could to stop that shit from transpiring ...yes! We're just glad we have a boy, I'll deal with a few broken bones and fist fights, a dirty room and putting porn blockers on his stuff. Everyone else can deal with the drama of raising girls :)
