I'm so lonely and it is killing me

Currently jogging around Central Park by myself on a Saturday evening. Honestly I'm becoming numb to having no real connections let alone any relationships. Just turned 24 a month ago and have never kissed, touched, or even gone on a real date with a girl or a guy.

What's a little odd is that the rest of my life has gone really well. I've got a great job that pays quite well even by NYC standards (>300k), I'm healthy and fit (5'11, 170lbs), and I have hobbies that I genuinely enjoy (marathon running, tennis/pickleball, skiing, surfing). What makes it so frustrating is that the people I spend time around with (ex college tennis teammates and work colleagues) all seem to have no trouble making friends, hooking up or having relationships. Unfortunately it seems that when it comes to me nobody finds me interesting enough to get beyond "casual acquaintance".

I'm not sure what I'm looking to get out of this post - I know that so many people are less fortunate out there and have real struggles like taking care of sick family members or trying to make rent or the million other problems I'm fortunate to not have. But knowing that other people have it worse doesn't make me feel that much better. If someone out there is making minimum wage but in a happy relationship with friends I'd switch positions in a heartbeat. What's the point of all this money if I feel dead inside as I go to bed every night?

I think it comes from my childhood growing up. I was homeschooled from 7th grade onward to focus on tennis which I believe stunted my social skills and made forming relationships in college much more difficult. I still remember one day when a teammate was on the phone with a group of girls on the women's team and he said "btw lonely_throwaway is rooming with me" and one the girls goes "ew" and I could hear the laughter on the phone. That killed my confidence for some time. I really tried to force myself to be more outgoing and went to parties and formals but would basically appear invisible to everyone else. I had 4 formals where I managed to get date but unfortunately nothing ended up happening there (funnily enough 2 of them hooked up with other people during the formal). I honestly hate "going out" partly because I don't have people to go out with and even when I do I'm basically the guy wandering around unsuccessfully trying to join those dance circles.

I've been trying self-improvement to get myself out of this. I know I'm not the best at making conversation or the most outgoing. I talked to a former teammate who also had trouble with girls in college but now has a girlfriend and he recommended me to watch Andrew Tate videos. Yeah....don't think I'm gonna be doing that. Should I talk to a therapist? Anyway if you see an asian guy running alone at night on the Upper West Side please don't rob me. Or do. Not sure I really care at this point.
