Most men, average men, meet women using social proof. Dating apps might work if you are very attractive, or if you are super lucky.

A girl Becky might only like tall men on dating apps. She gets used in situationships and blames it on men not wanting to commit. But this very same Becky will marry a short man she would have conaidered creepy if they met via a mutual friend.

You might give some statistic about most people meeting online now. I do think that it mostly comes down to social proof. Like sliding in to someones DM on social media rather than on Tinder. But mostly I go by what I see in real life. Average men meeting women using social networking.
